Bromine is a sanitiser necessary to kill bacteria in your hot tub water and help in the prevention of algae growth. The bromine levels should be checked regularly using Test Strips, which will let you know if there is too much or little bromine in your hot tub. Use them 3-5 times a week to keep the bromine at the correct level.

Why use bromine in your hot tub?

• Bromine is an effective hot water sanitiser and ideally suited to hot tubs
• Bromine normally is supplied as white bromine tablets, bromo-chloro-dimethyl hydantoin (BCDMH)
• It is effective over a wide pH range and has little odour
• Comes in tablet form making it easy to apply and avoids having to dose everyday
• The ideal Bromine level is between 3 - 6mg/l
